January 30th, 2007 by M0tik

meizu-m8.jpg
Chinese hardware manufacturers are extremely efficient, especially when it comes to “borrowing” designs. FCC approves Nokia 61i

January 26th, 2007 by M0tik

fcc-nokia-n61.jpg

At times, I envy those people who are working at the FCC. They get to see all the latest cellphones and electronic devices before an official release, and the scrutiny of the Nokia 61i just made my face turn another shade greener.

Cellphone Doublefists Two SIM Cards

January 26th, 2007 by M0tik

doubau-728.jpg
This Chinese GSM slider phone has slots for two SIMs. That makes sense if you’re holding separate numbers for work and play. Or if you’re a double agent. Or if you’re schizo. It’s only nice in theory. The phone is otherwise unremarkable.

Samsung SGH-A707 for your Valentine

January 26th, 2007 by M0tik

samsung-sgh-a707-red.jpg

If your sweetheart has a penchant for gadgets and all things tech, perhaps getting a flower for her this Valentine’s is an obsolete idea. Why not throw in a little circuitry to keep the sparks of love going with the red Samsung SGH-A707 clamshell handset? She can then take photos of that memorable day (and present) via the 2 megapixel camera, uploading the photos to a Bluetooth-enabled photo frame, and listen to her favorite love songs on the integrated media player.

MOTOKRZR K3 with 3G pops up

January 24th, 2007 by M0tik

Same deal as the MOTORIZR Z8 on this new MOTOKRZR K3; there isn’t a lot of info to delve into besides the fact that it has a 2 megapixel external camera, but the front-facing cam is a dead giveaway that this will be the 3G capable version of the RAZR followup that still hasn’t taken off.

Emotional Electronics by Sony Ericsson

December 29th, 2006 by M0tik

beautyxbeauty.jpg
Available only in Japan (why? Oh why?!), the Sony Ericsson “Beauty x Beauty” attracts the attention. It has simple and elegant lines, but upon receiving a call, the shell lights up with nicely designed patterns. As usual we praise KDDI (the company behind AU) for being design-savvy.
