The vast fields… of the phonebook
Nokia 5300 offers 1000 contact positions, which is twice more than the phonebook capacity of Nokia 6233 for example. As usual with any Nokia’s phonebook, it can be organized in three different views: as a standard list, as a list of names with numbers, or as a list of names with pictures. Searching is performed by typing the first letters of the respective name. The phonebook can be ordered and searched either by first or last name. You can choose a default contact list - the one on the SIM card, the one in the phone’s memory or both simultaneously.

HP procurement in Taiwan tops US$20 billion in 2006

Hewlett-Packard (HP) spent over US$20 billion on procurement in Taiwan this year, the highest amount among all foreign companies, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), total procurement from foreign companies in Taiwan totaled US$73.3 billion, up 10.89% on year. MOEA estimates the total procurement amount will grow more than 10% during 2007, said the paper.
HP, Dell and Sony are the top three companies in terms of procurement this year, said the paper, adding that Philips saw the largest growth in 2006 with procurement reaching US$2 billion, up more than 100% on year.
